\nSince before the Bullfrog Fish Farm’s origins in 1987– Rural Culture and Family Farms
\nwere <\/span>at the heart of my search for a desired lifestyle and way to make a living…<\/span><\/p>\n

“Like a lost dog scrapping to find its way home…”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At this same time-period the number of traditional family farms was on the decline…<\/span>
\nIn spite of this– I chose to resist the absurd and homogenizing effects of modern times…<\/span>
\nAccusations pointing toward folly and nostalgia only served to temper this rural vision…<\/span><\/p>\n

“We tend to surrender away… what we don’t realize we have.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It is assuring when many good folks unwittingly come to common conclusions\u2026<\/span>
\nThere was a resurgence of small farms across the countryside- Many new faces and <\/span>
\nsome not\u2026 Outward appearances may have changed yet the heart of it all remained\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

“It was as if we were adopting babies from the bath water…”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Three decades, more and less, now gone by\u2026 Mission toting farmers of passion strive <\/span>
\nonward\u2026 To each their own\u2014 Farm longevity has been every which way\u2026 Measuring\u00a0<\/span>
\nsticks are that of adventurers\u2026 And adverse social circumstances remain stubborn\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

“It is often more difficult to come up with the question than the answer…\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

What is the promise of “Community\/Family Farms” for our up-and-coming generations?
\nThis question’s theme has ever been at the heart of our farm\u2019s vision and mission…\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Camaraderie has been realized with other lifestyle\/locally based businesses\u2026
\nAnd where many common meanings and purposes are so desired and pursued..<\/span><\/p>\n
